Queer Centre season 2, episode 8 recap: Make Ted Great Again

In Queer Eye flavour 2, episode eight, "Brand Ted Great Once again," the Fab V help transform a young hippy mayor of a Georgia town to a political leader.

Okay this is information technology, and at present you need the tissues to say goodbye to Season 2 ofQueer Center,where we have been taken on journeying after journey of transformation and emotional growth. Oh yeah, and the Fab 5 helped some people out too. Seriously, did you notice how much the guys (Antoni Porowski, Tan France, Karamo Brown, Bobby Berk and Jonathan Van Ness) grew this season as well? They all shared their ain journeys of rejections and acceptances and learned where they were failing to contribute as well. Tan especially surprised me with what he learned near himself.

The journeys were amazing, merely they aren't over. In this terminal episode, Ted Terry currently serves as the Mayor of Clarkston, Georgia, the most ethnically diverse square mile in America. But his girlfriend Andre says that he needs to footstep it up and become a more serious looking political leader who's fighting for modify. It all starts with the beard.

Ted'south beard is scruffy and out of command, catching crumbs along the way. V gays to the rescue, showing up in a truck with megaphones looking for the mayor. In one case they observe him, the closet raid begins, the scissors come out and the apparel get thrown abroad. Nosotros oasis't even been 10 minutes into the show yet!

Ted is having an important coming together with local representations of diverse ethnic groups and he wants to shine. So, of course, the Fab Five smoothen him. They evidence him it's okay to put the ripped sneakers that he won his election with in a box and put them abroad and bring out the more developed clothes.

This episode has such a message of diversity and immigration and everything our country is supposed to stand for. With someone like Ted leading the way — scruffy or not — there is promise that nosotros can all live together and accept everyone. Even if we have to do it i.4 foursquare mile at a time.

This one line of the whole show sums up this amazing flavor:

"Sometimes you have to allow 5 gay guys in your life and see what happens."
